Laura Minor, MSW, LCSW,
About Laura Minor (She/Her)
Laura Minor, LCSW, provides therapy for teens and adults across California. She works collaboratively with each individual to build insight, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change. Laura supports clients facing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also helping individuals manage a wide range of mental health concerns and life transitions through individual, family, and group therapy. Her therapeutic evidence-based approach is tailored to each client’s needs. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Laura has experience supporting clients experiencing grief, including pet loss, involvement with the criminal justice system, mood disorders, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. She also works with special populations, including individuals involved in adoption or foster care systems and first responders, while offering additional areas of expertise to address a broad range of mental health needs. Laura believes that successful therapy is built on trust, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic relationship. She strives to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore challenges, develop healthier patterns, and achieve personal goals. Her clinical work reflects a balance of empathy and accountability. Outside of her professional practice, Laura enjoys reading, listening to music, exploring parks with her Great Dane, and practicing Yin yoga.
