Martha Castillo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has been practicing since 2010. She graduated from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, CA with a Marriage and Family Therapy master’s degree with a specialization in Latino Family Studies.

Martha believes that we all experience loss and trauma in different ways so tailoring services depending on her patients’ needs is very important to make a strong connection towards processing and healing. Her approach is patient-centered and solution-focused. She provides a safe virtual space to provide comfort so her patients feel safe and heard. Martha aims to provide tools and skills that can be helpful in between sessions to motivate change in patient’s life. Her main areas of focus include: grief, depression, anxiety, immigration and acculturation, peer relations, self-empowerment, Trauma and PTSD. Clinically, Martha uses a cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, culturally sensitive and strength-based approach.

In her spare time, Martha enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks with her dog, and watching travel and cooking shows. Martha is also fluent in Spanish, and likes to visit libraries and museums with her husband and child. Martha feels passionate about being respectful and kind.
