About Nicole Gilbert (She/Her)

Nicole Gilbert, LCSW, helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based mental health care. As a therapist with LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for clients throughout California who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Nicole believes that therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, building resilience, and creating meaningful change. Nicole helps individuals work through grief, reproductive challenges, and women’s mental health concerns. Through a supportive and personalized approach, she helps clients process difficult emotions, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their values and sense of purpose. In her work with adolescents, teens, and adults, Nicole frequently supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She also has experience helping individuals facing concerns related to gender identity, bipolar disorder, substance use, psychosis, and life-stage transitions. Nicole is committed to meeting people where they are, recognizing that each person’s path to healing is unique. She proudly supports members of the LGBTQ+ community and strives to create an affirming, inclusive therapeutic environment. Her therapeutic approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure Therapy, while incorporating additional evidence-based interventions when appropriate. By blending practical skill-building with deeper self-exploration, Nicole helps clients gain insight, manage symptoms, and develop lasting strategies for emotional wellness. Nicole earned her education from the University of Southern California and San Diego State University. Outside of her clinical work, Nicole enjoys video games, board games, miniature painting, yoga, and weightlifting.
