Peter Balderas, MC, LMFT
Specializes In:
Do you feel like you struggle with accepting your identity? I am a bilingual LMFT with over 20 years’ experience in Los Angeles working with adults individually and with couples and families. I am here to support you to feel empowered, respected, and heard. I am passionate about helping you build connections and increase your self-awareness in order to live an authentic and productive life. I utilize a variety of clinical techniques to help children, adults and couples develop long-term coping tools and learn mindfulness skills to alleviate negative symptoms and build self-esteem. I specialize in treating LGBTQ adolescents and young adults who have been struggling to find themselves, and who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, or substance abuse difficulties. I believe we all deserve the same sense of happiness, safety, and independence, and I work together with my clients to build positive, lasting change in order to create a life that is more authentic, joyful, and fulfilling.
