Giving yourself the gift of personal growth can lead to a life of greater satisfaction. Starting therapy can be the beginning of a new experience of yourself and your life. I create a safe space for you to explore your inner world with the support of an experienced, non-judgmental, and respectful therapist. You will develop a better sense of what you want and have more resources for achieving your goals. Awakening self-wisdom will help guide you through life’s twists and turns and to live a more peaceful and meaningful existence. Your therapy journey will be individually tailored to your unique situation and needs.

My practice style is heart centered and compassionate. I frequently work “in the moment”. I use a humanistic, client centered approach, and I utilize different modalities depending on where the client leads me, including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and Gestalt. I specialize in integral counseling psychology (a mind, body, and spirit approach to psychological study). I have been using meditation and mindfulness in my practice for many years, and have an advanced certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Meditation practices and body awareness can get us beyond mental chatter, helping us to find insight and deeper meaning. I think of incorporating personal spirituality as an option in therapy, if you choose.

I help clients move toward a life of greater satisfaction by helping them work through blocks that conceal their own self-wisdom, such as worrying, irritability, anger, lack of confidence, low self-worth, anxiety, depression, or shame. I also specialize in helping clients cope with chronic or life-threatening illness or pain. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco.
