Melissa Geddis, LMFT, helps teens, adults, and older adults find clarity, balance, and meaningful change through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she serves patients across California with a collaborative approach that supports emotional healing, healthier relationships, and practical coping skills for everyday life. Melissa works with teens (15–17), young adults, adults, and seniors, tailoring care to each life stage while addressing both immediate concerns and long-term wellbeing.

With more than two decades of clinical experience, Melissa provides individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy for a range of mental health needs. Her practice focuses on anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting clients navigating midlife transitions, relationship challenges, and stress related to work or family roles. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients build insight, resilience, and lasting skills. In addition to these core areas, she offers support for additional mental health conditions as needed.

Melissa is especially passionate about helping individuals impacted by anxiety disorders, depression, and obsessive-compulsive patterns, as well as those managing ADHD. She understands how these concerns can affect self-esteem, relationships, and daily functioning, and she works collaboratively to reduce symptoms while strengthening self-compassion and emotional flexibility. Her approach is thoughtful and structured, helping clients move toward values-driven lives with greater confidence and stability.

She has experience working with populations including first responders, military members and veterans, and individuals recovering from head injuries. Melissa values creating a safe, respectful therapeutic space where clients feel understood and supported throughout the healing process.

Outside of her clinical work, Melissa enjoys hiking, horseback riding, yoga, and pilates, which reflect her belief in the connection between mental and physical wellness.
