Riann Peña is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado who has been practicing since 2022. Riann believes clients are experts in their experiences, and values client autonomy in choosing their individual path toward healing and growth. She is passionate about taking a collaborative approach to help clients navigate their unique challenges. Riann strives to create an empowering and non-judgmental environment for clients to feel safe being vulnerable in sharing their thoughts and emotions. She utilizes motivational interviewing, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and EMDR to help clients reach their goals and recognize their individual strengths. Riann earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Missouri and her Master’s of Social Work degree at the University of Denver. In her free time, Riann enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
