About Janice Dixon (She/Her)

Janice Dixon is a licensed clinician in the state of Delaware and Maryland. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from the University of Delaware. During her time as an undergraduate, Janice had the opportunity to serve as a student intern in the mental health field which sparked her interest in counseling and encouraged the pursuance of a graduate degree. Janice has experience working in residential and outpatient settings with individuals who struggle to cope with different mental, cognitive, substance and behavioral issues. She has treated children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families utilizing an integrative approach to therapy. As a mental health advocate, Janice likes to focus on treating symptoms and identifying triggers despite the diagnosis. Janice is open to working with all populations as she continues to gain experience in the mental health field.
