Specializes In:
Diamond Coleman is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Florida who provides therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families ages 15-64. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Barry University in 2025. Diamond works with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use and addiction, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. Clients should always feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey Diamond believes that meaningful change begins with the relationship people have with themselves. Her philosophy is that when individuals develop greater self-worth and self-compassion, they are more likely to make healthy decisions, build stronger relationships, and create the life they want. Using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, she helps clients recognize their resilience while developing practical tools to overcome challenges and achieve lasting personal growth. Diamond strives to ensure each client leaves therapy feeling more confident, capable, and prepared to navigate life’s obstacles. Diamond utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Treatment is tailored to each client’s uniqueness. She is passionate about helping clients strengthen communication, regulate emotions, process traumatic experiences, break out of stuck patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. She works alongside her clients to identify meaningful goals, celebrate progress, and create lasting change. Outside of work, Diamond enjoys traveling, relaxing at the beach, watching sports (Go Chicago!), binge-watching TV series, and playing Nintendo Switch games like Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!. She believes balance is important and that making time for things you enjoy is part of feeling your best. She encourages clients to make space for the things that help them recharge and feel like themselves again. Diamond knows that starting therapy and making changes in life can feel scary and uncomfortable. She also believes you do not have to figure it out alone. She walks alongside clients through the process and supports them as they work through change at a pace that feels right for them.
