Luella LaRoche helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout Florida find relief from anxiety, emotional overwhelm, stress, and life transitions through compassionate, personalized mental health care. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at LifeStance Health, she provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy in a supportive environment where clients can safely process emotions, strengthen coping skills, and work toward lasting emotional balance. Luella supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, relationship concerns, and additional behavioral health challenges while helping clients build greater self-awareness and resilience. Luella is especially passionate about helping individuals who are experiencing burnout, grief, communication difficulties, self-worth struggles, and major life changes. She works closely with clients who feel emotionally exhausted or disconnected from themselves, helping them regain clarity, confidence, and a healthier sense of balance. She also has experience supporting individuals recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital who may need continued emotional support, structure, and coping strategies as they transition back into daily life. Her therapeutic style emphasizes empathy, honesty, and creating a space where healing and personal growth feel possible. Her approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs and strengths. Luella incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and additional evidence-based approaches to help clients improve emotional regulation, communication, and relationship functioning. For clients who value spirituality in the healing process, she also offers faith-based support when appropriate. Luella has experience working with diverse populations, including military veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, while also providing support for a range of additional emotional and mental health concerns. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2014, Luella has remained committed to helping clients feel empowered, understood, and emotionally supported throughout their mental health journey. She earned her education from Barry University and brings a thoughtful, client-centered perspective to every therapeutic relationship. Outside of therapy, Luella enjoys spending time with family, music, public speaking, creative projects, wellness education, and community outreach. She is passionate about creating environments where people feel encouraged, connected, and reminded that healing and growth can happen at any stage of life. Luella LaRoche proudly serves clients across Florida through LifeStance Health.
