Christian Wehner, MSCP, LMHC,
About Christian Wehner (He/Him)
Christian Wehner, LMHC, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges with compassionate, individualized care. At LifeStance Health in Florida, he provides individual, couples, and family therapy, creating a supportive setting where patients can better understand their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.
Christian has particular experience helping patients with anxiety, ADHD, and depression, while also addressing additional mental health concerns. His approach recognizes that symptoms can affect relationships, school, work, family life, and a person’s overall sense of well-being. He works collaboratively with patients to identify patterns, build practical strategies, and develop skills that can support progress beyond the therapy session.
In treatment, Christian draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, along with additional therapeutic interventions. His work can help patients examine unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, develop greater psychological flexibility, and approach difficult emotions with increased awareness and confidence.
Christian is especially interested in helping people understand themselves through thoughtful exploration and practical therapeutic work. He speaks Italian and Spanish, allowing him to support patients from a variety of backgrounds.
Christian began practicing in 2023 and studied at Florida International University. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys art, board games, mythology, and philosophy, interests that reflect his curiosity about creativity, perspective, and the ways people make meaning in their lives.
For children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors seeking mental health therapy in Florida, Christian offers a caring and clinically informed approach at LifeStance Health. Book online today to schedule an appointment with Christian Wehner.
