About Melanie Jacocks (She/Her)
Melanie Jacocks helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults across Florida build stronger relationships, manage emotional challenges, and create lasting change through compassionate, evidence-based therapy at LifeStance Health. She provides individual, couples, and family therapy, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, and childhood behavior issues while tailoring care to each person’s developmental and emotional needs. Melanie also offers services for individuals and families navigating complex life transitions and relationship concerns. She is especially passionate about helping parents, teenagers, and families improve communication, resolve conflict, and strengthen connection. Drawing on her expertise in child development, education, and family therapy, Melanie works to bridge generational gaps, support healthier family dynamics, and empower clients with practical tools that foster respect, emotional regulation, and long-term resilience. Melanie incorporates interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques, while offering additional therapeutic approaches as needed. She has experience supporting diverse populations, including individuals with autism spectrum disorders, LGBTQ+ clients, and those involved in adoption or foster care systems. With a client-centered, strengths-based approach, Melanie creates a supportive space where individuals and families feel understood and empowered to grow. Outside of her clinical work, she values personal and professional growth and enjoys spending meaningful time with family and friends, engaging in activities that promote joy and connection.
