Fany Curzon, LMHC,
About Fany Curzon
Fany Curzon provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for teens, adults, and older adults. At LifeStance Health, she works collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families seeking support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also addressing a wide range of additional mental health needs. Fany is committed to creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. A particular area of passion for Fany is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that transitioning back into daily life after a hospitalization can feel overwhelming and uncertain. Through personalized treatment planning, practical coping strategies, and ongoing therapeutic support, she helps patients build stability, strengthen recovery skills, and reduce the risk of future crises. Her goal is to help individuals regain confidence, reconnect with their strengths, and move forward with hope. Fany’s therapeutic approach is tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances and goals. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also offering additional therapeutic interventions when clinically appropriate. She has experience working with women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and military veterans, as well as others seeking support for personal, relational, and emotional challenges. Her services include individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. In addition to her clinical work, Fany is able to provide services in Spanish, helping more patients access care in the language they are most comfortable using. She values cultural awareness and strives to ensure every patient feels understood and respected throughout the therapeutic process. Outside of her professional life, Fany enjoys swimming, salsa dancing, reading, writing, spending time with her children, and playing with her dog. These interests help her maintain balance and reinforce the importance of meaningful connections, self-care, and personal growth. Fany earned her education from Florida International University and Liberty University and has been dedicated to helping others achieve improved mental health and well-being through compassionate, personalized care. Patients throughout Florida seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and other mental health challenges can benefit from her thoughtful and collaborative approach.
