Specializes In:
Jamila Millette helps teens and adults across Florida navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and renewed purpose. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, she supports individuals facing anxiety, depression, and trauma, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal. At LifeStance Health, she provides individualized care that meets clients where they are, helping them build coping skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful, balanced lives. A central focus of Jamila’s work is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She is passionate about helping clients stabilize, regain confidence, and successfully transition back into daily life. With thoughtful guidance and consistent support, she works to reduce the risk of relapse, build structure, and foster a sense of hope during what can be a vulnerable and overwhelming time. Jamila integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and couples counseling to address emotional and relational concerns. She offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy, and has experience working with teens, young adults, adults, and seniors. In addition to her primary specialties, she also supports clients navigating concerns such as grief, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. Since beginning her practice in 2012, Jamila has developed a holistic perspective that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She draws from her clinical training and life experience to support lasting emotional wellness and personal growth. Outside of her clinical work, Jamila enjoys dancing, singing, practicing yoga, meditating, and spending time cooking and sharing meals with loved ones. She values mindfulness and believes that small, intentional moments of joy and rest can have a powerful impact on overall well-being. Jamila Millette is proud to serve clients throughout Florida with thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care.
