Joseph Pfeffer, LCSW, is very passionate about his work and views the therapeutic process as a collaboration between equals. Joseph is person centered in his approach to therapy and believes his role as a therapist is to be a guide that helps you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. Joseph has over ten years of clinical experience providing individual therapy in both in-patient and outpatient mental health settings for people experiences challenges relate to gender identity, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, life transitions, grief, ADHD, men’s issues, and numerous other mental health challenges. Joseph is trained in and utilizes a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

In his free time Joseph enjoys nature in all its forms and engages in a variety of outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, fishing, and camping. He also enjoys reading history, watching sports, playing video games, and creative activities such as woodcarving and painting.
