Jay Butterfield, LPC
Jay’s unique professional background, including extensive work in research and as a Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), has honed his focus on addressing medical issues and the impact these diagnoses have on everyday life. As a clinician, Jay is happy to work with any population, but has particular experience with people between the ages of sixteen and forty-five. He also has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and people on the autism spectrum, extending a hand to those who are seeking direction in life or simply want a place to help figure things out during life transitions.
Beyond his professional commitments, Jay finds solace in literature. Whether immersed in large-scale projects or crafting short stories and poetry during his free time, Jay’s passion for writing reflects his creative and empathetic nature. He lives with his wife and cat, and enjoys hosting Dungeons and Dragons, with a particular interest in crafting satisfying and exciting stories for everyone involved.
