My name is Lisa Goodson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with individuals throughout the entire state of Illinois. I am available for telehealth appointments. I provide support to empower individuals to support themselves differently in life.

I use evidence-based practice and have been working in the mental health industry for over 5 years. I have obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I also have my Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Applied Counseling with minor in Interdisciplinary Studies from Chowan University. I consider myself a lifetime learner and ongoingly strive to grow professionally in the field of Psychology.

On a personal note, I am passionate about working as a clinician. I know mental wellness is an intricate part of holistic well-being. Mental health impacts an individual’s life, can impact the way the world interacts with an individual, and can impact an individual’s perspective. As a clinician, I strive to support individuals to better understand ways to cope and thrive throughout their life journey.
