Vanessa Corley, MS, LPC,
About Vanessa Corley (She/Her)
Vanessa Corley, LPC, provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults throughout Illinois. She takes a warm, collaborative, and practical approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Vanessa works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and behavioral concerns. She also supports clients navigating family conflict, divorce, parenting challenges, school-related concerns, and workplace stress.
Using evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy, Vanessa helps clients recognize unhelpful patterns, improve emotional regulation, strengthen coping skills and relationships, and build greater confidence and resilience.
Vanessa has experience working with military veterans, first responders, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. She understands that starting or returning to therapy can feel vulnerable and strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard while being encouraged toward meaningful change.
As a veteran and mother, Vanessa brings a personal appreciation for resilience, family dynamics, and balancing life’s many roles. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her children, embracing life as an Irish dance mom, and staying connected to her community.
