Kamryn Malloy, LPC, helps teens and adults across Illinois navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. She supports individuals who feel stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by anxiety, perfectionism, or the constant pressure to appear “okay.” Kamryn provides a safe and collaborative space where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and begin creating lasting change. Kamryn works with individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions, as well as those processing grief or exploring gender identity. She uses therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients develop insight, build emotional resilience, and find balance. Kamryn has a special passion for supporting individuals who are recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that the transition back into daily life can feel uncertain or overwhelming, and she focuses on helping clients regain stability, rebuild trust in themselves, and integrate the coping tools needed for long-term healing. This stage of recovery is often a critical bridge between crisis and thriving, and Kamryn is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they find their footing again. She works extensively with women and members of the LGBTQ+ community, honoring each person’s unique experiences and identities. Kamryn helps clients move beyond survival mode by fostering connection between mind and body, addressing patterns of people-pleasing and intellectualizing, and nurturing self-compassion. Outside of her clinical work, Kamryn enjoys biking along Illinois’ scenic trails, learning about trees, and spending time in nature.
