Kristen Jopes, LCSW, provides in person services only at the Naperville Diehl office. She provides telehealth services throughout the state.

Kristen’s clinical experience includes working with adolescents, young adults, and older adults. She has met with clients in community settings and within a behavioral health hospital, giving her a wide range of skills to address a variety of concerns. Her specialties include working with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, behavioral problems, substance use and addiction. As a coach for children and adolscents, she enjoys helping individuals work through sports related issues.

Kristen prefers to use a client-centered approach while meeting the individual on their level. She believes each person is the best narrator of their story, and she is honored to be a guide on the journey of life. Kristen recognizes that attending therapy can be vulnerable, and she strives to create a safe and supportive environment to offer support and growth. She also uses evidence based practices, including motivation interviewing, CBT, and DBT. She provides supervision for therapists in locations throughout the state of Illinois.

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and coaching diving.
