About Katie Reilly (She/Her)

Katie Reilly, LPC, helps adolescents, teens, and adults build practical skills to navigate emotional challenges, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for patients across Illinois, supporting those who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care, helping clients feel understood while working toward their personal goals. Katie is particularly passionate about helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma. She understands how overwhelming these challenges can feel and works closely with clients to develop healthy coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and foster greater confidence in managing life’s difficulties. She strives to create a supportive therapeutic environment where clients can process their experiences, identify strengths, and make progress at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable. Working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults, Katie has experience supporting individuals facing school avoidance, childhood behavior concerns, grief, life transitions, bipolar disorder, and other emotional and behavioral difficulties. She tailors treatment to each person’s unique needs and incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also offers additional therapeutic approaches to support a wide range of mental health needs. Katie earned her education from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Indiana State University. Her clinical work is guided by a commitment to ongoing learning and delivering high-quality mental health care that reflects current best practices. Outside of her professional role, Katie enjoys embroidery, reading, learning new things, listening to music, traveling, exploring art, and spending time with animals, especially dogs. She also enjoys thrifting and playing Pokopia on her Nintendo Switch, activities that help her stay creative and connected to her personal interests.
