About Taren L. Duncan Faucett (She/Her)

Taren Faucett helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a strong belief in each person’s ability to grow and heal. As a therapist with LifeStance Health serving patients throughout Indiana, she creates a supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2014, Taren has worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, helping them build resilience and move toward lasting emotional wellness.

Taren provides individual therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting clients facing many other mental health and life transition challenges. She works collaboratively with each person to understand their unique experiences and goals, tailoring treatment to meet their specific needs. Her approach combines evidence-based care with a warm, person-centered style that fosters trust and progress.

Using interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Taren helps clients develop practical skills for managing emotions, improving relationships, and creating meaningful change. She also offers support for additional concerns and specializes in working with populations including individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders, among others.

Taren is passionate about helping people through life’s transitions and believes that healing happens when individuals feel genuinely understood and supported. Whether a client is navigating personal challenges, recovering from difficult experiences, or seeking greater balance and fulfillment, she works to provide a safe and collaborative space where growth can occur at a sustainable pace.

She earned her education from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and Indiana Wesleyan University. Her professional experience, combined with a commitment to continued learning, allows her to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care to the individuals and families she serves.

Outside of her clinical work, Taren enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. She loves cooking, traveling, and being near the water whenever possible. These activities help her stay grounded and reinforce the values of balance, connection, and self-care that she encourages in her therapeutic work.
