Heather Eichman, LSCSW, helps teens, adults, and seniors across Kansas navigate complex mental health challenges with compassion, structure, and clinically grounded care. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she provides a supportive space for individuals and couples who are seeking stability, clarity, and meaningful change, whether they are managing long-standing concerns or responding to a recent life disruption. Her approach is thoughtful and collaborative, designed to meet patients where they are while helping them move forward with confidence.

A central focus of Heather’s work is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She is deeply committed to helping patients transition safely and successfully back into daily life, offering continuity of care during a vulnerable period. This work often includes strengthening coping skills, reducing the risk of relapse, coordinating ongoing support, and helping patients and families regain a sense of control and hope after acute psychiatric treatment.

Heather also specializes in treating PTSD and trauma, anxiety, and alcohol and drug use issues. She works with teens and adults who may feel overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, or the lingering effects of trauma. Her clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting, while also offering additional therapeutic options tailored to each person’s needs. She provides individual therapy and couples therapy and serves populations including LGBTQ+ individuals, military members and veterans, and first responders, along with additional groups.

With over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, Heather brings a steady, reassuring presence to therapy. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her two dogs and two cats, traveling, and baking.
