Specializes In:
Welcome! I’m Leigh Jordan, a clinical social worker with 18 years of experience in the field. I have a passion for helping people improve their lives, achieve their goals and determine their own futures. I help clients navigate the complexities of their thoughts, and feelings, gain insight, reconcile past experiences, improve relationships and enhance personal growth.
My approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the strengths perspective allowing for a holistic and empowering journey towards healing and self-discovery.
Early in our process we will identify your unique strengths. I believe by identifying and employing what you already do well, we begin with a foundation of resilience and competence. During our sessions we will explore the interplay between your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors. We will work together to help you learn to recognize and disrupt unhelpful patterns, develop effective coping strategies and build skills to engage in behavior which aligns with your values and goals.
Whether you are looking to improve relationships, achieve personal goals, or simply find a greater sense of fulfillment, I am here to support you on this journey. While fostering a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space, I will help you explore your experiences, tackle challenges and we will celebrate your process of growth together.
My commitment is to walk beside you on this path of new growth and empowerment, as you discover a happier, more resilient self, and actualize your true potential. I’m honored to be on this journey with you.
