Darla Stevens, Therapist

Darla Stevens, LSCSW

Darla Stevens helps teens, adults, and seniors navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, and relationship concerns with clarity and compassion. She practices at LifeStance Health and serves patients throughout Kansas, offering individual therapy that is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each person’s goals. Darla works with teens ages 15–17 as well as adults and older adults, providing thoughtful support across the lifespan in a calm, respectful setting.

Darla is especially passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief, including women facing midlife transitions, postpartum concerns, and other significant life changes. She helps clients process loss, manage overwhelming emotions, and reconnect with purpose while developing practical tools to improve daily functioning and emotional balance. Her approach emphasizes resilience, values-based living, and meaningful personal growth.

In addition to these core areas, Darla treats concerns such as ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD/trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, later life transitions, and health-related stressors, and offers additional areas of focus as needs arise. She has experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and first responders. Her therapeutic work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Christian counseling for those who wish to integrate faith into treatment.

Darla has been in clinical practice since 2023 and brings a thoughtful, client-centered perspective to her work. Outside of therapy, she enjoys running, reading, cooking and baking, designing interior and exterior spaces, and spending time in church activities and Bible study, interests that reflect her value for connection, creativity, and lifelong learning.
