Jennifer Billingsley, MSW, LSCSW,
About Jennifer Billingsley (She/Her)
Jennifer Billingsley helps adults and older adults across Kansas navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based mental health care. As a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual and group therapy for those facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other emotional and behavioral health concerns. Jennifer is committed to creating a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Jennifer has a special interest in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She understands that periods of change, whether related to career, family, aging, or personal growth, can bring uncertainty and emotional strain. By helping clients build practical coping skills and greater self-awareness, she supports them in developing resilience and moving forward with confidence.
Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Jennifer incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients develop healthier thought patterns, strengthen emotional well-being, and improve daily functioning. She also offers support for additional mental health concerns and challenges that may impact overall quality of life.
Jennifer works with adults of all ages, including young adults, midlife adults, and older adults. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and values building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, respect, and compassion.
Outside of her clinical work, Jennifer enjoys watching movies, spending time with her family and dog, and learning new things. These personal interests help her maintain a balanced perspective and reinforce her appreciation for lifelong growth and connection.
