Ive been going to AFC for many years and have been recently seeing Shelly for the past year or so. She is an amazing provider! With her help and knowledge she was able to prescribe me new medication while adjusting and tapering down on old meds. She is practical, knowledgeable, and such a friendly person :) She is always learning more and more new ways to help her patients. Shelly takes what you have to say in account and makes sure that you are heard. She is responsible and tries her very best to continue to improve her patients. Ive struggled the past 6 years with psychiatrists and trying to communicate and have a mutual understanding of what my condition is. It wasnt until I met Shelly did I feel and know I was taking a step in the right direction. The past year working with her ive seen major improvements in my health and know that there are no limits to how much I can do for myself and others. Everyone at AFC is extremely nice and friendly. The nurses are amazing and the staff overall have been very welcoming.

Staff and Providers are great. I've been in treatment for over 15 years and I received absolutely no help from anyone until I decided to give Affiliated Family Counselors another try. I'm very thankful to them for their help! I see Shelley and Joan and I'm very pleased with them. I've read through most of the reviews and I can Guarantee that most of these negative reviews are from drug seeking people. I'm not saying that people are not having real problems. But I happen to know that everytime I show up for my appointments the front desk staff are very friendly and polite and that Joan and Shelley seem to truly care that I'm there.

The information requested prior to my appt with Van took too long to complete n became frustrating by time completed. This much info should be mailed out so elderly can complete n bring with them to appt as doing so much on iPhone made me anxious. I know new company but all info you requested was already in my patient file. I’m 73 n dealing with things by iPhone etc is more difficult for me. Otherwise, Van Van and her nurse Amber were very helpful n kind as always during my appt. Receptionist also 5 star. Amber helped me get access to Patient Portal so I hope I remember how to access it for future. Thank you very much

Jennifer Keane has provided me with the most considerate care I’ve had anywhere in 15 years. She is honest and gentle but firm in her approach when needed. It can be hard to find a therapist you click with. Everyone knows the struggle but you can trust that she wants to help and she is so full of knowledge and always willing to learn to provide the best care to her clients. Truly cannot say enough great things. I really feel safe with her and that’s so important to me. Blessed to be a client at Affiliated Family Counselors.

I am truly blessed to have been referred to this group. They are compassionate and very good. The staff is always friendly and ready to help with any questions or concerns. I was referred by community care through the VA. My counselor Darcy Buhler is an awesome person. Great listener and always a delight to talk to about what’s on my heart. If you’re in need of a counselor this place is worth looking into. Thanks everyone, especially Darcy for your care.😇❤️
