About Lucas Todd (He/Him)
Lucas Todd helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults build practical skills to navigate life’s challenges, improve emotional well-being, and move toward meaningful change. At LifeStance Health, he provides individual therapy for patients across Kentucky, supporting those who are struggling with concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related difficulties, while also offering care for a range of additional mental health needs.
Lucas takes a collaborative and compassionate approach to treatment, recognizing that every person’s experiences and goals are unique. He works with children, teens, adults, and seniors, helping patients develop insight, resilience, and effective coping strategies. His clinical approach incorporates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support lasting growth and emotional health. He also has experience working with populations such as individuals involved in adoption or foster care and first responders.
A particular area of passion for Lucas is supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He understands that the transition from inpatient care back to everyday life can feel overwhelming and uncertain. Through therapy, he helps patients establish stability, strengthen coping skills, maintain treatment progress, and build confidence as they continue their recovery journey. His goal is to provide a supportive environment where individuals can regain a sense of direction and move forward with hope.
Lucas earned his education from Eastern Kentucky University, where he developed the foundation for his work as a mental health professional. He remains committed to ongoing learning and delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Outside of his professional role, Lucas enjoys spending quality time with his family and children. He loves reading and has a deep interest in history, politics, philosophy, and human behavior. He also enjoys hiking, walking outdoors, and preparing meals through cooking, grilling, and smoking food.
