Kendrah Sanders helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout Kentucky navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based mental health care. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and substance use treatment support, creating a welcoming environment where patients can explore concerns, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change. Her approach is rooted in meeting each person where they are and developing a treatment plan that reflects their unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Kendrah is especially passionate about trauma-informed therapy and helping individuals heal from the lasting effects of difficult life experiences. She understands that trauma can impact relationships, emotional well-being, self-esteem, and daily functioning. Through a supportive and collaborative therapeutic process, she helps patients gain insight into their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and move toward healing and personal growth.

She has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals facing substance use concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other mental health conditions. Kendrah incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques to help patients develop practical skills for lasting emotional wellness. She also offers additional therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Kendrah has a special interest in working with individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital, those participating in court-ordered treatment, and individuals navigating parental custody concerns or other current legal matters. She recognizes the unique stressors these situations can create and strives to provide a nonjudgmental space where patients feel supported while working toward stability and positive outcomes.

In addition, she has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals involved in adoption and foster care systems, and women facing a variety of life challenges. Her goal is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and empowerment.

Since beginning her clinical practice in 2021, Kendrah has remained committed to helping people achieve emotional balance, healthier relationships, and improved quality of life. Outside of her work, she enjoys learning about cars and appreciates the focus, creativity, and problem-solving they inspire.
