About Neesi Hansen (She/Her)
Neesi Hansen helps adults and older adults build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change when facing emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy to patients throughout Massachusetts, offering a compassionate, collaborative approach that supports healing while drawing on evidence-based clinical practices. Neesi works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns, while also helping clients navigate complex life experiences and personal growth.
A particular area of passion for Neesi is working with adoption-related trauma, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those exploring questions of gender identity. She understands that identity, belonging, and life experiences can shape emotional well-being in profound ways. Through a supportive and affirming therapeutic relationship, she helps clients process difficult experiences, strengthen self-understanding, and move toward greater confidence and authenticity.
Neesi also supports adults managing ADHD, bipolar disorder, midlife transitions, chronic medical conditions, and pain-related challenges. She has experience working with individuals from adoption and foster care backgrounds and offers care that recognizes the connection between emotional, physical, and social well-being. Her treatment approach is tailored to each person’s needs and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, mindfulness-based strategies, and additional evidence-based interventions.
Drawing from years of clinical experience, Neesi creates a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward their goals. She believes effective therapy balances practical coping strategies with deeper self-exploration, helping individuals develop skills that support lasting emotional wellness and improved quality of life.
Outside of her clinical work, Neesi enjoys practicing yoga and taking walks, activities that reflect her appreciation for mindfulness, balance, and overall well-being.
Through LifeStance Health, Neesi Hansen is proud to provide individual therapy for adults and seniors across Massachusetts. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, identity-related concerns, or other mental health challenges, she is committed to helping them move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and hope.
