Michael Wiehe provides evidence based psychotherapy and treatment for adults suffering from mood disorders, depression and anxiety. He utilizes cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) as a primary approach, along with with aspects of solution focused treatment and motivational interviewing. After completing his Masters degree in 2011, Michael joined South Bay Mental Health as a therapist on the dual-diagnoses team. He took a concurrent position as a group facilitator at South Bay Day Services’ partial hospitalization program where he ran groups for the PHP and IOP programs. Following his time at South Bay, he worked as an outpatient therapist at Wilmington Family counseling for three years, with a focus on mood disorders and dual diagnosis. Before joining LifeStance in 2020, Mr. Wiehe was the Clinical Director of Arbour Counseling’s Partial Hospitalization Program in Woburn, starting in 2017, after working as a group facilitator at that program. Mr. Wiehe joins our Woburn office, where he provides assessment and treatment for the adult population.
