Jenna Newman, LCSW, helps adults across Maryland find stability, healing, and empowerment through compassionate, evidence-based therapy. She works with individuals and couples navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship concerns. Jenna’s approach is collaborative and goal-oriented—helping clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and create meaningful change that lasts. She provides care for adults and seniors through both individual and couples therapy, offering a safe and supportive space for growth at every stage of life. Jenna is particularly passionate about supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from psychiatric hospitalization or are participating in court-ordered treatment. She understands that these experiences can feel overwhelming and isolating, and she works to help clients regain confidence, structure, and purpose in their daily lives. Using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Jenna helps clients process their experiences, develop resilience, and move forward with strength and clarity. In her broader clinical work, Jenna supports adults managing complex conditions such as bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and sleep difficulties. She also provides care for those facing women’s health and reproductive challenges, as well as individuals living with medical or health-related concerns. Her therapy is grounded in mindfulness and self-compassion, fostering both immediate relief and long-term emotional wellness. Jenna earned her degrees from Indiana University Bloomington and New York University. Outside her work with LifeStance Health, she enjoys reading, marathon running, skiing, and spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and dog. These activities reflect her belief in balance, connection, and the healing power of movement and nature. Jenna Newman is proud to serve clients throughout Maryland as part of LifeStance Health.

As someone who was nervous to start therapy, I couldn’t ask for a better counselor to help get me started. She’s very kind and is easy to talk to, coming from someone who’s anxious all the time. I’m confident moving forward that she can help me get even better, and I’m already seeing signs of progress about a month in.
