About Lauren Thatcher (She/Her)
Lauren Thatcher is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland who has been practicing since 2023. She has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Lauren has previously worked in the behavioral health field addressing children and adolescents’ behavioral issues in the home, school, and community. She also has experience working directly with individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD using an eclectic approach of person-centered therapy, CBT, DBT, and psychoeducation. Lauren operates under the philosophy that her clients are the experts of their lives. Lauren works with clients directly to create a treatment plan using evidence-based interventions that best fits their unique circumstances. In her personal time, Lauren enjoys golfing, reading, running, and baking.
