Today was my intake at LifeStance and I am very satisfied. I met Dr. Alfaz and it was immediately evident that I was in the right place. She listened to everything I had to say and was extremely friendly and professional. Best of all was it was in-person, not virtual. I had gotten tired of video appointments and I just feel more comfortable talking to someone when they're right in front of me. Dr. Alfaz had no judgement, no talking down, and was completely down to earth. She related my story to that of one of her family members who has similar symptoms. I was even able to get an appointment with one of their social workers (Kenneth) within a few hours of heading home. I will see him in a couple of days. So far, great start. I am looking forward to my next visit there in June.

I had an appointment with Dr. Zhao today and he is a really caring psychiatrist. I was pleasantly surprised, but that was only because he was a man. I thought being a woman I should probably have a woman, but I tried it out and I feel like we will work well together. He listens, and is very kind and understanding. He took the time to go over medications with me and considered my needs. Whenever I call to make my appointment (made one twice already), the schedulers are super nice! I can’t remember the name of the African-American lady who scheduled my appointment yesterday, but she was especially kind. Their Customer Service is excellent! You can have either a virtual or on site appointment. I think I made a good decision to come here. I’m feeling good about that.

I like my doctors. They have always listened to my issues and between therapy and medication, I am feeling good right now! The Skype call we do every 2 weeks is short, but to the point. And the medication is monitored and fits into my daily routine. I highly recommend them!
