Rebecca Padberg, LCPC
Rebecca Padberg, LCPC, helps adults navigate life’s most challenging moments with compassionate, evidence-based care. Serving patients across Maine through LifeStance Health, she provides therapy that is both empathetic and effective, empowering individuals to develop insight, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. Whether addressing persistent anxiety, grief, or relationship stressors, Rebecca works collaboratively with each person to uncover the deeper roots of emotional pain and foster meaningful growth. Rebecca specializes in treating anxiety, PTSD and trauma, and couples’ issues. With extensive experience supporting adults and seniors, she brings clinical insight into the complexities of midlife transitions, later-life challenges, and medical or health-related stress. She is also trained in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, tailoring each approach to the unique needs and goals of the individual. Her therapy style blends structure and warmth, balancing clinical expertise with a down-to-earth, person-centered approach. Rebecca is particularly passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma, including combat-related PTSD, complex grief, and developmental wounds that impact daily functioning and relationships. She draws on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, Polyvagal Theory, and mindfulness-informed interventions to support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and post-traumatic recovery. This work is especially relevant for military veterans, first responders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, populations for whom she provides specialized care. Outside of her clinical work, Rebecca finds joy in recharging by the lake or at the beach, traveling to new places, and spending meaningful time with her family.
