Stephanie Thompson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine who has been practicing since 2018. She earned a Master of Social Work through the University of New England and her Undergraduate Degree in Mental Health and Human Services through the University of Maine at Augusta. Stephanie likes to meet people where they are at in their journey of life and support them through processes where their mental health is impacting the life in which they want to live. She provides a safe space, empathy, and no judgement, to name a few. Stephanie has been a social worker for many years, starting as a Community Integration/Targeted Case Manager. After about 10 years and many changes to the case management model, she decided to pursue a Master’s Degree so she could support her clients through their mental health challenges with a different lens that could also serve a wider range of folks. Stephanie enjoys the clinical process and sees the benefit people can achieve by having a trusted other assist and support through what may be their most trying of times. Mental health does not discriminate and can impact our lives at various times in our lifespan. Collaboratively, Stephanie would like to support you in living your best life! In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, window shopping, and trying new recipes!
