About Emily Robinson (She/Her)

Emily Robinson, LCSW, helps children, teens, young adults, and adults build emotional resilience, improve coping skills, and regain a sense of balance in their lives through compassionate, evidence-based care. She provides individual therapy through LifeStance Health and serves patients across Michigan, creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Emily works with children and adolescents as well as young adults and adults navigating life transitions, emotional stress, and behavioral concerns.

Emily specializes in treating ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma, helping clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and experiences shape daily functioning. She is especially passionate about supporting children and teens who struggle with emotional regulation, trauma histories, and anxiety-related challenges, while also partnering with families to promote stability and growth. Her work is grounded in a strengths-based perspective that emphasizes safety, trust, and confidence-building at every stage of treatment.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and parenting skills to support lasting change. Emily tailors treatment to each client’s developmental stage and individual needs, helping clients build practical tools for managing symptoms of anxiety, improving focus and behavior, and processing difficult experiences. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she offers support for related mental health concerns as part of comprehensive care.

Outside of the therapy room, Emily values connection and restoration. She enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her dogs, reading, coloring, and listening to music as ways to recharge and stay grounded.
