Amanda has over a decade’s worth of experience working with individuals with co-occurring physical and emotional pain, anxiety, substance abuse, insomnia, individuals with neurodevelopmental diagnoses (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, 2E, Gifted, etc.), and teaching “quirky” individuals’ social skills. Additionally, she has experience working with individuals who have experienced a separation of the family unit, coping with the loss or long-term illness of a family member, disordered eating, creating work/ life balance, anxiety, and other health-related illnesses. As well as, 9 years of experience as a school social worker working with individuals on IEPs/ 504 plans and assisting parents in advocating for the needs of their child. Amanda is devoted to helping her clients heal from past and present pain in order to create joy and purpose in their lives.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her significant other, family, and friends, weightlifting, hiking, reading dystopian novels, gardening, attending church, and playing with her dog, Pavlov. She has a passion for fitness, nutrition, and community which shapes her life outside of work.
