The process of finding a therapist was easy and straightforward. As online appointments give me so much anxiety, I prefer in person appointments but I wasn't able to find one, so I had to call. The person was amazingly helpful and quite friendly, made me laugh thru the process which he did as fast as he could. He was only 2 weeks into the job, but other than needing to ask insurance questions, you would never know! Ended up having to do online appointments, and my therapist is the most amazing man and has already been of so much help! He made the process easy and now I am appreciating the tele-visits very much! Shaun Jessop is wonderful at his job, knowledgeable, educated and has a passion that puts the patient first and allows the process to be emersive without being overwhelming! Yay! My psychiatrist is amazing as well, she sits and listens as a therapist would, even tho that's not her main job. Is so interested and listens and cares. It has been a great blessing to have her to work with!!

Mrs. Chiamaka Uzoma is probably the best doctor that I've seen at Lifestance therapist and psychiatrists. I feel like no one else that I've seen or had an appointment with at Lifestance cares as much as she does about her patients having the necessary medications and attention that they need. And she's pretty patient as well because although I forget a lot and probably do things or make decisions that are probably shouldn't make she has been patient the entire way through and told me the reasons why anything that I would have been doing would have been a bad idea. So yeah, I think Chiamaka is where I need to stay. I also feel like I need a therapist because there are some possibly mental issues that keep stopping me from moving on from past issues and I feel like my brain is being prohibited for moving forward and having the creativity that's necessary for the rest of the emptyness that gathers in my life. I recommend her!

My experience with the therapist has been fantastic, and the website / app is easy to use. My below comment has nothing to do with my actual therapist. While I understand the need to have a cancellation policy and an associated fee, I think a $100 cancellation fee within 48 hours is pretty outrageous. Life sometimes happens and circumstances outside of your patient’s control should not be cause to penalize your patient. Especially a patient who is always on time and had to cancel one time. I was also disappointed that the CSR that cancelled my appointment for me didn’t even ask why, and didn’t even try to be helpful. Like do you even care?

It was very easy to book , especially after using the filters to make sure they showed me therapists that took my particular insurance. You were able to read the bio of all the therapists plus see their picture. You can also choose therapist by if you wish to do zoom or in person. Previous to this, I had always done in person therapy, however, because the therapist that I chose would be a longer drive than I wish to take on a weekly basis, I decided to try the zoom and actually I was very comfortable with it and liked it . I’ve had one zoom therapy session so far And I’m very happy with the therapist that I chose.

Since starting at life stance my therapist Emily Zimmer is the best therapist I have had in ten years I feel so confident and connected and feel like maybe some day I will get through the trauma and be able to live a somewhat normal life. My psychiatrist is the most understanding and supportive and actually listens to how I am feeling and lets me help in the decision of my medication so I don’t feel like I am being a guinea pig and just taking meds that are not affective.

I’ve had a few therapists in and outside of LifeStance and never found the right fit, but Amanda Henderson is by far the best therapist I’ve had. I’ve been seeing her for almost 2 years now and I have made so much progress as a person, a lot of that is because I have such a supportive and kind provider. I feel comfortable sharing without judgement which I have always been uncomfortable with therapy in the past. Highly recommend Amanda as a provider!
