I have had three video visits with Anthony Opara, and am so grateful I found LifeStance. I am in my mid-late 40’s, and was diagnosed with ADHD two years ago. Since I struggle with depression & anxiety, the psychiatrist who diagnosed me with ADHD was not willing to prescribe any stimulant medication to help treat my ADHD. The concern was that stimulants would increase my anxiety, although I expressed that I believed the root cause of my anxiety & depression stemmed from not being able to manage ADHD symptoms with a demanding career. I never received medication that helped manage it, and my ADHD, anxiety and depression became heightened as a result. I knew I needed someone who would listen to my concerns, which is when I found Anthony through LifeStance. Anthony listened and prescribed medication that has truly helped me manage ADHD. I was already taking medication to manage my anxiety and depression, and my anxiety has not increased since taking the ADHD medication. Anthony cares for and listens to his patients. I have seen significant difference personally and professionally, since treating my ADHD. Focus and motivation have improved, and I procrastinate far less. I highly recommend Anthony and LifeStance.

It was very easy to book , especially after using the filters to make sure they showed me therapists that took my particular insurance. You were able to read the bio of all the therapists plus see their picture. You can also choose therapist by if you wish to do zoom or in person. Previous to this, I had always done in person therapy, however, because the therapist that I chose would be a longer drive than I wish to take on a weekly basis, I decided to try the zoom and actually I was very comfortable with it and liked it . I’ve had one zoom therapy session so far And I’m very happy with the therapist that I chose.

Since starting at life stance my therapist Emily Zimmer is the best therapist I have had in ten years I feel so confident and connected and feel like maybe some day I will get through the trauma and be able to live a somewhat normal life. My psychiatrist is the most understanding and supportive and actually listens to how I am feeling and lets me help in the decision of my medication so I don’t feel like I am being a guinea pig and just taking meds that are not affective.

I’ve had a few therapists in and outside of LifeStance and never found the right fit, but Amanda Henderson is by far the best therapist I’ve had. I’ve been seeing her for almost 2 years now and I have made so much progress as a person, a lot of that is because I have such a supportive and kind provider. I feel comfortable sharing without judgement which I have always been uncomfortable with therapy in the past. Highly recommend Amanda as a provider!

I have not had any bad experience with life stance. I feel at this time I have been connected with the best people for me. The only thing I would have to say is I get too many emails and text messages about my appointments reminders and whatnot. Everybody there’s been great, the staff is very pleasant
