Deana Fisher, LMSW,
About Deana Fisher (She/Her)
Deana Fisher, LMSW, helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and practical strategies for lasting change. Serving patients across Michigan through LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy and couples therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Her approach is collaborative and personalized, creating a supportive environment where clients can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward their goals with confidence. Deana is particularly passionate about helping individuals facing later life transitions, midlife transitions, and health-related challenges. She understands that major life changes, chronic medical conditions, caregiving responsibilities, and evolving personal identities can have a significant impact on emotional well-being. By helping clients develop effective coping skills and new perspectives, she supports them in navigating these transitions while maintaining a sense of purpose, balance, and connection. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and couples/marital counseling, Deana works with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other concerns. She also has experience supporting people within the adoption and foster care community, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and those with developmental disabilities. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, she offers support for a variety of other mental health and life challenges. Deana believes that successful therapy begins with understanding each person’s unique story. She strives to create a respectful, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes. Her therapeutic style balances clinical expertise with genuine warmth, helping clients gain insight while developing practical tools they can use in everyday life. Outside of her clinical work, Deana enjoys participating in a competitive singing group, an experience that reflects her appreciation for creativity, connection, and personal growth.
