Karyn is a Master’s level therapist who is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Karyn received her

Bachelor’s degree at Central Michigan University and her Master’s degree from Wayne State

University. Karyn has worked for Advanced Counseling Services for 20 years as a therapist and

17 years as a Site Administrator. As of June 2021, Advanced Counseling Services was acquired

by LifeStance Health. Karyn continues to work as a therapist, as well as a Site Supervisor for

LifeStance Health Brighton location.

Karyn has over 25 years of experience in the treatment of anxiety, behavioral issues, coping

skills, depression, identity issues, life transitions, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, stress

management, and women’s issues. Karyn treats women and men, ages 14-80.

Karyn uses a variety of approaches, customized to meet the needs of her clients. Karyn aims to

create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to freely express thoughts they may not be
