Katie Tschetter, BA, LLMSW, helps individuals and families in Michigan navigate life’s challenges by providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each person’s needs. She works with children, teens, adults, and seniors, supporting clients through a wide range of concerns including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Katie provides individual therapy and creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can build resilience, discover their strengths, and move toward meaningful change. Katie is especially passionate about supporting children and adolescents who are experiencing behavioral challenges, school avoidance, or developmental struggles. She has a deep commitment to working with families impacted by adoption or foster care, as well as those navigating life with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities. By integrating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, Katie helps young people and their families strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and foster emotional growth. In addition to her work with children and families, Katie also supports adults navigating life transitions, postpartum depression and anxiety, or grief and loss. Katie also offers care for those managing PTSD and trauma, helping clients process painful experiences and move forward with greater stability and hope. Outside of her clinical work, Katie enjoys art, journaling, staying active through sports, and spending time outdoors. These personal passions often inform her ability to connect with clients creatively and encourage them to find balance through expression and movement.
