About Stephanie Bigelow (She/Her)

Stephanie Bigelow, LPC, provides a supportive and collaborative space where teens and adults across Michigan can develop practical skills, gain insight, and move toward meaningful change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStance Health, she works with clients to identify obstacles, build resilience, and create personalized strategies that support emotional wellness and long-term growth. Her approach balances compassion with evidence-based care, helping clients feel understood while working toward measurable progress. Stephanie is especially passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress management, and life transitions. She recognizes that periods of change—whether related to school, work, relationships, family responsibilities, or personal development—can feel overwhelming and uncertain. Through therapy, she helps clients strengthen self-esteem, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence in their ability to manage challenges while pursuing a more fulfilling and balanced life. Drawing from evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches, Stephanie tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. She has experience supporting individuals facing ADHD, anxiety, and depression, while also addressing a wide range of additional mental health concerns. Stephanie works with older adolescents, adults, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, and military veterans. Before entering clinical practice, Stephanie gained valuable experience in educational leadership, providing her with insight into the pressures faced by students, professionals, caregivers, and those balancing multiple life demands. Since beginning her counseling career in 2007, she has remained committed to helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting skills for personal growth. She earned her education through Eastern Michigan University, Marygrove College, and the University of Michigan–Dearborn. Outside of her professional work, Stephanie enjoys activities that help her stay grounded and connected. She is passionate about yoga, mindfulness practices, and guided meditation. She also enjoys reading, traveling, shopping, and exploring new experiences and perspectives. Above all, she values spending quality time with friends and family and strives to live with gratitude, intention, and presence in daily life.
