Nikki Yost, Therapist

Nikki Yost, MA, LPC, NCC, C-DBT

Nikki Yost, LPC, helps patients across Michigan navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. She provides individual therapy for teens, adults, and seniors, offering support for those experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and other mental health concerns. Nikki creates a safe, collaborative environment where patients feel heard and supported as they work toward growth and healing. Nikki is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from psychiatric hospitalization. She understands how overwhelming the transition back to daily life can feel and provides a steady, nonjudgmental space to process emotions, strengthen coping strategies, and build resilience. This focus reflects her dedication to helping people find stability and hope during vulnerable times. Her therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, allowing her to tailor care to each person’s unique needs. In addition to her focus areas of anxiety, depression, and trauma, she has experience addressing reproductive challenges, postpartum concerns, and women’s issues. She also works with LGBTQ+ individuals, offering affirming and inclusive care. Since beginning her practice in 2016, Nikki has remained committed to guiding patients through difficult life stages with empathy and clinical expertise. She values the importance of meeting patients where they are and walking with them through their journey toward meaningful change. Outside of her work, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and going on nature walks, activities that help her stay grounded and connected.
