I work with people across the life span to meet them where they are. I believe people are the experts on themselves, but just need help with navigating what is inside, so they can see their own self-worth and potential. In helping people work through their traumatic experiences, we can take a new approach where the person does not have to tell their story AGAIN and relive their experiences. Instead we can look at how the mind and brain react and recognize how to build resiliency to achieve an optimal level of happiness, calm, and freedom from being owned by emotional responses. I also work side by side with people to help with identifying and resolving the causes of depression and anxiety along with skills to work through the struggling moments.
In my spare time: I enjoy being with my dogs and husband, watching movies, gardening, photography, bike rides, and enjoying the outdoors next to a recreational fire.
