About Neal Perry (He/Him)

Neal Perry, LMSW, is dedicated to helping individuals in Michigan navigate life’s challenges with a compassionate and evidence-based approach. He provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults, supporting those struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions. Neal creates a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and regain control over their mental well-being. With a strong focus on ADHD, addiction recovery, and trauma, Neal works with clients to address the unique challenges these conditions present. He understands how ADHD can impact daily life, from relationships to work performance, and helps individuals develop skills to enhance focus, organization, and emotional regulation. His expertise in substance use issues provides critical support for those in recovery, guiding them toward healthier coping mechanisms and long-term resilience. Neal also specializes in trauma-related care, helping clients process past experiences and build a sense of safety and empowerment in their lives. Neal’s therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients break unhelpful patterns, manage distress, and cultivate a sense of balance. He has experience working with diverse populations, including first responders, military personnel, and the LGBTQ+ community. His understanding of the unique stressors faced by these groups allows him to provide tailored, culturally competent care. In addition to his primary areas of focus, Neal also supports individuals navigating midlife transitions, grief, men’s issues, and reproductive challenges. When he’s not working with clients, Neal enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and immersing himself in science fiction. He also loves spending time with his dog, Daisy, who brings him joy and relaxation.
