Sonia Mayren, MA
Sonia received her Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Sonia enjoys working with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. She has extensive experience working with children and families that have been affected by trauma, domestic violence and immigration issues. Sonia considers herself bicultural and bilingual as has several years of experience working in the Latino community and is fluent in Spanish. In therapy Sonia utilizes a holistic and strength based approach to therapy, incorporating mind, body and soul care. She works with clients on a variety of issues and is trained in TF-CBT, Early Childhood Development, Prepare and Enrich pre-marital counseling and play therapy.
