Penny received her Master’s and Education Specialist degree in School Counseling and Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University. She also received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rider University. Penny has completed mental health training in perinatal and postpartum through Postpartum Support International (PSI). She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified School Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Penny has had experience working in hospital setting, partial setting, schools, outpatient, and private practice. She is experienced with working a wide range of mental health issues such as perinatal/postpartum mood disorders, adjustments, anxiety, and depression. Penny is passionate about helping individuals find new ways of being in their relationships with themselves, their loved ones, their work, their energy, their body, their emotions, and their purpose in life. Penny has an understanding on the impact pregnancy and postpartum have on an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Whether it is having a difficult time adjusting to all the different hats in parenthood, loss of pregnancy, birth trauma, medically complicated pregnancy, trying to support your partner, or your children needing ongoing medical attention. Penny seeks to help support individuals and provide them with the tools that they need to live their life. Penny uses a variety of modalities in her therapy sessions. She seeks to empower, and support individuals through therapeutic, evidenced based and holistic approaches to wellness. She also operates through a mindfulness, and a person-centered approach. She truly believes that everyone’s journey is different. Together, we can take a journey into abundance, manifestation, and living our authentic life.
