Laura Troy, LPC, is a compassionate therapist serving clients throughout New Jersey, offering both in-person and online counseling services. Specializing in anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and recovery from toxic relationships, Laura works with individuals across a wide range of life stages, including young adults and those navigating midlife and later-life transitions. Laura utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Positive Psychology. These approaches are designed to help clients develop effective coping strategies, manage stress, and work through difficult experiences. In addition to working with individuals recovering from toxic relationships, Laura provides career counseling and offers support to creative individuals, including musicians, artists, and writers, helping them navigate the unique challenges of creative professions and find fulfillment in their work. Outside of therapy, Laura is a classically trained flutist, singer, and writer, with a passion for volunteering, travel, and outdoor festivals.
