Elizabeth Pasquale, MSW, LISW
Specializes In:
Elizabeth (Pruitt) Pasquale, LISW, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker experienced in working with adults who have trauma, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression, as well as other diagnoses. Elizabeth earned her Master of Social Work from Cleveland State University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communication from La Roche University.
Elizabeth completed her graduate training at the Cleveland Veterans Administration Medical Center, where she focused on PTSD among Veterans. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), has advanced training in treating borderline personality disorder, and is pursuing her Board Certified Autism Professional (BCAP) credential.
Elizabeth utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based modalities. Her therapeutic approach integrates a holistic person-in-environment perspective which focuses on healing trauma, mind-body wellness, and overcoming barriers to mental wellness. She has experience with a diverse range of clients, including active-duty military personnel, veterans, seniors, those in the adoption and foster care community, clients with autism and with ADHD.
Outside her practice, Elizabeth enjoys life in her largely neurodivergent family. She is a wife and mother with firsthand experience in ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, which gives her direct insight into the strengths and challenges these diagnoses involve. Before becoming a psychotherapist, Elizabeth worked as a photographer and artist—experiences that inspire her creative approach to therapy. She values curiosity, innovative ‘reframing’, structure, and balance, and she weaves these principles into her work to help clients envision and build fulfilling, lasting lives.
